Homelessness

Creative Loafing Charlotte gave me this assignment in April of 2013. “We are doing an article on homelessness, do you want it?” My reply ”YES.” So I began going to Urban Ministry Center to talk to people. I met this man, Issac Ray Dunn, 63. He had been living on the streets here in Charlotte, NC for 4 months. He allowed me to photograph him.

The estimated 6,000 homeless people living in charlotte have different stories that all equal HOMELESSNESS. The average age of a homeless person is 9 years old.

What can we do? Support awareness is what Creative Loafing Charlotte did for this cover article in May 2013. Please read at http://clclt.com/charlotte/shelter-us-with-more-permanent-supportive-housing-options/Content?oid=3078749
